Tusla EWS Integrated Services Manager (Secondment)

Since 2014, Tusla’s remit includes responsibility for Educational Welfare Services i.e. Home School Community Liaison Scheme, School Completion Programme and Educational Welfare Service (statutory).

Tusla is charged with developing a single strategic approach, reflecting equally the nature and strengths of each of the services, to address school attendance, participation and retention.

Integrated Services Manager

Applications are sought for three EWS Integrated Services Managers to support the delivery and practice of the service in the North East, North West and Dublin regions. Applications will be accepted from Primary and Post Primary teachers who currently hold full time posts in recognised schools and are registered with the Teaching Council in accordance with Sections 30 & 31 of the Teaching Council Act, 2001. The appointment will be on a secondment basis for the school year 2017-2018 with potential to extend to a maximum of five years.   Candidates must be eligible for full-time secondment as per circulars 0107/2006 and 11/02. A panel will be formed from which future vacancies arising up to the end of 2019 may be filled.
