Circular Letter 41/2017, which gives effect to the ‘Supervision and Substitution Scheme – Opt-out and Opt-in’ as provided for in the ‘Outcome of Department of Education and Skills, INTO and TUI discussions – 29 November 2016’, has issued.

Please note that: ‘An eligible teacher wishing to exercise the opt-out must complete the form at Appendix 1 and submit it to the Principal of their school/Head of Centre in the first instance. The deadline for submission of forms is Friday 26 May 2017’.
