The report of the Public Service Pay Commission has been published today. Click here to download.

The commission, chaired by former Labour Court chairman Kevin Duffy, was established to advise Government on public service remuneration policy.

The document states that “there is a basis for the parties to enter into negotiations for a further collective agreement to extend the Lansdowne Road Agreement.”

TUI said that it will be strongly putting forward the critical issue of pay equality for new and recent entrants to the profession in any forthcoming talks.

In addition, the Union will vigorously seek pay restoration for all members and a speedy unwinding of the draconian FEMPI legislation.
