The Irish Labour History Society’s 2016 Annual Conference takes place on Saturday 22nd October 2016 at the society's premises, Beggars Bush, Dublin 4
Titled 'Leaving 1916 & Entering 1917', the conference includes papers on individuals such as Peadar Macken, Richard O'Carroll & Peter Ennis. It also includes talks on Frongoch Camp, Child Welfare in 1917, Dublin East Wall's Resistance to the British Army in 1916 and a comparative paper examining revolutionary events in the period between the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland and the 1917 October Revolution in Russia.
